Entering 2023, Anhui distributed photovoltaic is a new force, the first three quarters of distributed new installed capacity reached 6.62GW, ranking fourth in the country; household photovoltaic new installed 3.88GW, ranking third in the country; new industrial and commercial photovoltaic installed 2.74GW, ranking fifth in the country. In the first three quarters of 2023, Anhui's photovoltaic manufacturing industry crossed another 100 billion steps, achieving revenue of 210.19 billion billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 79%, which has exceeded the scale of 2022; the lithium-ion battery industry achieved revenue of 74.3 billion billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 53.3%. The province's advanced photovoltaic and new energy storage industries are booming.
At the press conference on the theme of the ten emerging industries held on November 7, Feng Kejin, director of the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Anhui Province, said that in recent years, the scale of Anhui's photovoltaic and energy storage industry has grown rapidly, market entities have accelerated gathering, and key links The advantages are highlighted and the innovation ability continues to improve.
Relying on the advantages of quartz sand resources and convenient export location advantages, Anhui Province has cultivated the advantages of photovoltaic glass, cells, modules, inverters and other industrial chain links. In 2022, the province's photovoltaic glass production reached 8.26 million tons, accounting for 51.4 percent of the country's total; photovoltaic inverter shipments reached 83GW, accounting for about 30 percent of the world, ranking in the forefront of the world. In the first three quarters of this year, the province's photovoltaic cell and module production achieved 51GW and 79GW respectively, accounting for 14.1 percent and 24.1 percent of the country's total, up from 8.6 percent and 22.5 percent at the end of 2022.

According to rough statistics, in 2023, a total of 30 projects were signed in the silicon wafer, battery and component links of Anhui photovoltaic industry chain, with a contracted amount of more than 170 billion yuan and a scale of more than 300GW. 16 projects were started and 29 projects were put into production. details are as follows:

In recent years, Hefei has implemented the strategy of "borrowing light for development" and issued unconventional support policies. Starting from the solar power supply of inverter enterprises, Hefei has extended the photovoltaic glass, battery chips and components at the front end, energy storage batteries at the back end and system integration in both directions, attracting key foreign enterprises to settle down one after another, showing a grand occasion of continuous optimization of industrial structure and increasingly sound industrial chain.
Hefei Photovoltaic Industry Chain Enterprise Map Geographically, Hefei Photovoltaic Enterprises are mostly concentrated in Shushan District and Feidong County. As a well-known "hometown of quartz" in the country, Chuzhou has cultivated a 100 billion photovoltaic industry cluster with the help of 10 billion tons of quartz sand resources, and established a photovoltaic industry base with large investment scale, many head enterprises and complete industrial chain. Has settled photovoltaic enterprises include Longji, Jingke, Trina Solar, Oriental Sunrise, Suntech, Zhengtai, Yijing Optoelectronics, Foster, Yingfa, Sunshine Power, Yongzhen Technology and a series of leading enterprises.
The entry of leading enterprises has attracted clusters from the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to build an increasingly complete vertical integrated industrial chain such as quartz sand mining and processing, silicon wafers, photovoltaic glass, photovoltaic cells, photovoltaic modules, and inverters. Among them, the production capacity of photovoltaic glass, photovoltaic modules and photovoltaic cells in Chuzhou accounts for 60%, 50% and 50% of Anhui's production capacity respectively.

By the end of 2022, our province has 5 national innovation platforms and 107 high-tech enterprises in the field of advanced photovoltaic and new energy storage.
